A later roster update arrived, adding Steve Nash to the 02-03 Dallas Mavericks (86 OVR) and 04-05 Phoenix Suns (93 OVR). Also on the 02-03 Dallas Mavericks team, PG Steve Nash was also left off the game, when he was rated 85 OVR last year for the team.
On the 04-05 Phoenix Suns historical team, PG Steve Nash was not included in the game, although he was the best player on the team in the NBA 2K16 version at 92 OVR.On the 70-71 Atlanta Hawks historical team, PF Bill Bridges was not included in the game, although he was on the team in the NBA 2K16 version at 78 OVR.
